This is the first webinar in a three part series for nurses in March 2010. This 75 minute webinar will discuss legal issues and pitfalls associated with nursing documentation. Participants will learn the legal requirements for documentation of patient care and the potential legal ramifications of inappropriate or incomplete documentation. Although nursing documentation seems less critical than other client-centered tasks, documentation is essential in everything from planning the best patient care to defending a nursing malpractice lawsuit or preventing a State Nursing Board complaint. |
