We are continuing to work with legislators to push our issues forward. It is very important that Representatives and Senators continue to hear from you.
The last day for business this session is March 31, with March 30 & 31 being Concurrence Days. Concurrence days are the days set aside for each Chamber to vote to accept bills in which changes were made by the other Chamber. For instance, a House bill that was passed by the House and then had changes made to that bill when it was passed by the Senate, must be sent back to the House for the House to accept the changes made. The reverse holds true for Senate bills.
As you can see, time is short. Beginning Monday, March 22, we need everyone (ARNPs, friends, family, physicians) calling the legislative message line everyday until further notice.
