I am working as a LVN and a family member is suing the facility where I work . I am afraid that my name might get involve, and if that happens, and we have go to court.
Do i need to get my own attorney or the facility will have one for all of us? what is the best way to deal with this situation? should i trust the facility's attorney?

This isn't legal advice just information. I would suggest you speak with an attorney. You need independent and objective advice and counseling related to your concerns. You can't obtain objective and independent advice and counseling from the attorney representing your family member or the facility's legal counsel because you are not the client of the attorney. Speak with an attorney ( and not an attorney who is located in the same law firm as your family member's legal counsel or the law firm that serves as outside legal defense counsel for your facility) about your situation.
