What do you think? If you are an expert clinician should you transition into nursing management or should you stay at the bedside and continue to climb the clinical ladder? What happens when you reach the "top" of the clinical ladder and you are a CN III or CN IV as a general RN do you then go back for your NP or CNS advanced degrees and training?
Let's be real. Practically can you be an expert nurse clinician and an excellent nurse manager? How do you define excellence in nursing management?
