This 60 minute webinar will discuss legal issues and pitfalls associated with nursing documentation. Participants will learn the legal requirements for documentation of patient care and the potential legal ramifications of inappropriate or incomplete documentation. Although nursing documentation seems less critical than other client-centered tasks, documentation is essential in everything from planning the best patient care to defending a nursing malpractice lawsuit or preventing a State Nursing Board complaint.
The presenter is LaTonia Denise Wright, RN, BSN, JD. Ms. Wright is an Ohio licensed RN and a licensed attorney in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. She is an attorney in private practice in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her law practice involves representing, counseling, and advising nurses in State Nursing Board matters.
The cost of the webinar is $30.00.
No CE credit is provided.
The webinar consists of a 45 minute presentation followed by a 15 minute question and answer period. |
