I was asked by another national company to present a full day seminar across the country. I declined.
I informed the company that I am available to present and speak on legal issues in the Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana area however I can't commit to a national schedule.
Its grueling. I presented in March with Cross Country Education for three days in three cities and I had to rest three days. No, I am serious I was tired and I am a serious multi-tasker and workaholic.
I don't present as much as I used to anymore because my law practice keeps me busy and I am consulting with a national professional association on legal projects. I am also more selective in accepting speaking engagements than I used to be.
I looked at my CV and I spoke and traveled heavy from 2003-2005. Once I went from Cincinnati to Anchorage, Alaska (Alaska Nurses Association speaking engagement) to Arizona (National Home Care conference presentation) to Orlando, Florida (Metrade presentation) to Cincinnati, Ohio then to Washington, DC (ANA Meeting). This occurred all in the span of ten days.
I also prefer poster presentations at regional and state conferences and regional, state, or local oral presentations to speaking at national conventions.
